You may use additional weight (Picture 29) for this version of the chin if youâre strong enough. Youâll find this exercise easier than the behind-the-neck variety we just completed. If a lifting belt isnât handy, you can hold a light dumbbell between your legs. Again, use a very wide grip, and try to pull up as high as possible. Tense your lats all the way up and down, and be sure to get a good stretch at the bottom. Do five sets, of the same amount of reps each time (8 to 10 is ideal), and rest no more than 60 to 90 seconds between sets.
